Steering Wheel Controls Replacement (Pontiac)

Removal Procedure





1. Disable the SIR system.
2. Remove the steering wheel control switch(s) from the steering wheel pad using a small flat-bladed tool.





3. Disconnect the electrical connector from the steering wheel control switch(s).
4. Remove the steering wheel control switch(s) from the steering wheel.

Installation Procedure





1. Connect the electrical connector to the steering wheel control switch.
2. Position the steering wheel control switch(s) to the steering wheel pad.





3. Install the steering wheel control switch(s) to the steering wheel pad pressing into place until fully seated.
4. Inspect the operation of the steering wheel control switch(s).
5. Enable the SIR system.
