Support Replacement - Center

Removal Procedure





1. Remove the hood secondary catch and primary latch. Refer to Hood Latch Replacement (Hood Latch Replacement) .
2. Remove the input air temperature sensor (2) connector from the center support (1).
3. Remove the upper fascia plastic retainer from the top of the center support.




4. Remove the following components from the vehicle:

* The 2 bolts
* The center support (2)




Installation Procedure






Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

1. Install the center support (2) to the vehicle. Secure the support with the 2 bolts.

Tighten the center support bolts to 15 N.m (11 lb ft).





2. Install the input air temperature sensor (2) connector to the center support (1).
3. Install the hood secondary catch and primary latch. Refer to Hood Latch Replacement (Hood Latch Replacement) .
4. Install the upper fascia plastic retainer to the top of the center support.
