Engine Oil and Oil Filter Replacement
Removal Procedure
1. Raise and properly support the vehicle. Refer to Vehicle Lifting.
2. Position an appropriate drain pan under the engine.





3. Remove the oil pan drain plug bolt.
4. Remove the oil filter.

Installation Procedure





1. Install the oil filter.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

2. Install the oil pan drain plug bolt.
^ Tighten the oil pan drain plug bolt to 35 Nm (26 ft. lbs.).
3. Lower the vehicle.

Important:
^ Oil capacity with oil and filter change is 3.7 liters (3.9 quarts).
^ Oil capacity with oil change only is 3.5 liters (3.7 quarts).

4. Fill the engine with oil to the appropriate mark.
5. Start engine and check for leaks.
