Front Door Window Regulator: Service and Repair



Window Regulator Replacement - Front Door

Removal Procedure





1. Remove the front door window. Refer to Window Replacement - Front Door (Service and Repair) .
2. Disconnect the power window motor electrical connector, if equipped.
3. Remove the following components from the door:

* The 6 bolts (1)
* The window regulator (2)




Installation Procedure





1. Apply a multipurpose grease to all lubrication and sliding points.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

2. Install the window regulator (2) to the door (3). Secure the regulator with the 6 bolts (1).

Tighten the regulator bolts to 8 N.m (71 lb in).

3. Connect the power window motor electrical connector, if equipped.
4. Install the front door window. Refer to Window Replacement - Front Door (Service and Repair) .
