Security Lamp/Indicator: Service and Repair

LED INDICATOR REPLACEMENT - VEHICLE SECURITY SYSTEM

REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Remove the instrument panel upper trim.




2. Remove the security indicator lamp (3) from the instrument panel upper trim:
2.1. Rotate the lamp counterclockwise to approximately 1/4 turn.
2.2. Pull the lamp out.
3. Disconnect the security indicator lamp electrical connector from the security indicator lamp.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Connect the security indicator lamp electrical connector to the security indicator lamp.
2. Install the security indicator lamp (3) to the instrument panel upper trim:
2.1. Insert the lamp.
2.2. Rotate the lamp clockwise to approximately 1/4 turn.
3. Install the instrument panel upper trim.
