Onstar Button Assembly Replacement

ONSTAR BUTTON ASSEMBLY REPLACEMENT

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Remove the overhead console door (3).
2. Reach your hand through the access opening and disconnect the electrical connectors (1) for the switches.
3. Remove the OnStar(R) button assembly (2).

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Reach your hand through the access opening in order to install the OnStar(R) button assembly (2) and connect the electrical connectors (1).

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

2. Install the overhead console door (3). Install the screws securing the overhead console door.

Tighten
Tighten the screws to 10 N.m (89 lb in).
