Coaxial Cable Replacement - Navigation and Cellular Telephone Antenna
COAXIAL CABLE REPLACEMENT - NAVIGATION AND CELLULAR TELEPHONE ANTENNAREMOVAL PROCEDURE
IMPORTANT: These procedures are applicable to both of the antenna cables in this vehicle.
1. Remove the sunshade.
2. Remove the sunshade anchor.
3. Remove the trim panel from the right cowl side.
4. Remove the garnish molding from the windshield.
5. Remove the bolt that secures the antenna cable extension to the roof. This bolt is located under the right front corner of the headliner.
6. Remove the following components from the vehicle:
- The antenna cable
- The antenna cable extension
INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. Install the following components to the vehicle:
- The antenna cable
- The antenna cable extension
- Install the antenna cable to the instrument panel carrier.
NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.
2. Install the bolt which secures the antenna cable extension to the roof.
Tighten
Tighten the bolt to 3.2 N.m (28 lb in).
3. Install the trim panel at the right cowl side.
4. Install the garnish molding to the windshield.
5. Install the sunshade anchor.
6. Install the sunshade.
7. Install the radio.
