Console Replacement - Overhead (Aztek)

Removal Procedure





1. Open the overhead compartments in order to access the fasteners.
2. Remove the screws.
3. Remove the second seat audio control from the overhead console, if equipped. Refer to Audio Control Replacement - Second Seat (Aztek) Audio Control Replacement - Second Seat (Rendezvous) in Entertainment.
4. Remove the overhead console from the vehicle.



Installation Procedure






Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

1. Install the screws to the overhead compartments.

Tighten the screws to 2 N.m (18 lb in).

2. Install the second seat audio controls to the overhead console. Refer to Audio Control Replacement - Second Seat (Aztek) Audio Control Replacement - Second Seat (Rendezvous) in Entertainment.
3. Close the overhead compartment doors.
