Motor Replacement - Power Mirror

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the front door trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Side Front Door (Aztek) (Trim Panel Replacement - Side Front Door (Aztek))Trim Panel Replacement - Side Front Door (Rendezvous) (Trim Panel Replacement - Side Front Door (Rendezvous)) .
2. Remove the mirror face. Refer to Mirror Face Replacement (Mirror Face Replacement) .




3. Remove the mirror motor screws.




4. Pull the mirror motor out from the mirror housing to gain access to the mirror motor electrical connectors.




5. Disconnect the mirror motor electrical connectors.
6. Remove the mirror motor from the mirror housing.



Installation Procedure





1. Position the mirror motor to the mirror housing.




2. Connect the mirror motor electrical connectors.




3. Position the mirror motor into the mirror housing.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

4. Install the mirror motor screws.

Tighten the screws to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

5. Install the mirror face. Refer to Mirror Face Replacement (Mirror Face Replacement) .
6. Install the front door trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Side Front Door (Aztek) (Trim Panel Replacement - Side Front Door (Aztek))Trim Panel Replacement - Side Front Door (Rendezvous) (Trim Panel Replacement - Side Front Door (Rendezvous)) .
7. Inspect the mirror for proper operation.
