Inflator Solenoid ReplacementRemoval Procedure
1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Vehicle Lifting.
2. Remove the hoses (1) from the inflator solenoid.
3. Remove the electrical connector (2) from the inflator solenoid.
4. Remove the screws (3) from the inflator solenoid to the air compressor assembly bracket.
5. Remove the inflator solenoid from the air compressor bracket.
Installation Procedure
1. Install the inflator solenoid to the air compressor assembly bracket.
2. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.
Install the screws (3) into the inflator solenoid and the air compressor bracket.
Tighten the screws to 6 Nm (53 inch lbs.).
3. Install the electrical connector (2) onto the inflator solenoid.
4. Install the hoses (1) onto the inflator solenoid.
5. Lower the vehicle.
