The numbers below refer to the step numbers on the diagnostic table.
3. This step verifies that the personalization option is active.
4. Turning ON the headlamps switch in this step eliminates the possibility of the memory function switch finding an alternative path to ground through the illumination circuit.
7. If the fuse in the jumper wire opens when you perform this test, the signal circuit is shorted to battery voltage.
9. If the fuse in the jumper wire opens when you perform this test, the signal circuit is shorted to battery voltage.
