BLOWER MOTOR REPLACEMENT

Removal Procedure





1. Remove the instrument panel (I/P) lower insulator panel - RH.

CAUTION: Unplug the blower motor before removal. Blower motor case contact with any ground may start the fan and cause personal injury.

2. Disconnect the blower motor electrical connector (4)
3. Remove the 3 blower motor retaining screws (2).
4. Remove the blower motor (3) from the HVAC module (1).

Installation Procedure





1. Install the blower motor (3) to the HVAC module (1).

NOTICE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

2. Install the blower motor retaining screws (2).

Tighten
Tighten the screws to 1.7 N.m (15 Ib in).

3. Connect the blower motor electrical connector (4).
4. Install the I/P lower insulator panel - RH.
