Rear Compartment Lid Lock Cylinder Replacement (Pontiac)

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the rear compartment lid lock assembly latch.




2. From inside the rear compartment lid, remove the lock cylinder retainer.
3. Remove the lock cylinder.

Installation Procedure

1. Position the lock cylinder in the rear compartment lid.




2. Install the lock cylinder retainer.
3. Install the rear compartment lid lock assembly latch. Ensure that the latch is fully seated. This action will engage the locking tabs. Refer to Rear Compartment Lid Latch Replacement.
