Converter Hanger Assembly
Removal Procedure
1. Raise and support the vehicle.
Notice: Refer to Catalytic Converter Movement Notice in Service Precautions.
2. Support the exhaust system.
3. Remove the catalytic converter pipe hangers.
4. Inspect the catalytic converter brackets for serviceability. Repair or replace as necessary.
Installation Procedure
1. Install the catalytic converter pipe hangers.
2. Remove the support from the exhaust system and the vehicle.
3. Inspect the exhaust system for underbody contact.
4. Lower the vehicle.
