THEFT DETERRENT EXCITER MODULE REPLACEMENT

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Remove the ignition switch lock cylinder.
2. Disengage the retainers (1,2) from the theft deterrent reader/exciter module. Remove the theft deterrent module (3) from the lock cylinder housing.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Slide the theft deterrent module (3) onto the ignition lock cylinder housing. Verify that the retainers (1,2) are engaged.
2. Install the ignition switch lock cylinder.
