Keyless Entry Receiver: Service and Repair
REMOTE CONTROL DOOR LOCK RECEIVER REPLACEMENTREMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Remove the instrument panel (I/P) upper trim panel.
2. Disengage the outboard receiver retainers from the I/P trim pad.
3. Lift the receiver from the I/P trim pad and disconnect the electrical connector.
4. Remove the receiver.
INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. Connect the electrical connector.
2. Install the receiver by positioning the inboard retainer to the I/P trim pad slot. Press the outboard retainers into the I/P trim pad openings.
3. Install the I/P upper trim panel.
4. If a new remote control door lock receiver is being installed, synchronize the transmitter. Refer to Transmitter Synchronization. Programming and Relearning
5. If a new remote control door lock receiver is being installed, program the transmitter. Refer to Transmitter Programming. Programming and Relearning
