Memory Positioning Module: Service and Repair

MEMORY SEAT CONTROL MODULE REPLACEMENT

REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Disable the SIR system.

CAUTION: Refer to SIR Caution in Service Precautions.

2. Remove the seat.




3. Disconnect the electrical connectors.
4. Using a flat-bladed tool, gently pry the memory seat control module from the bracket slots.




5. Slide the module toward the rear of the seat.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Slide the module into the mounting bracket and push until the module is fully seated.




2. Connect the electrical connectors.
3. Install the drivers seat.
4. Enable the SIR system.
