Brake Switch (Cruise Control): Service and Repair

CRUISE RELEASE SWITCH REPLACEMENT

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Disconnect the cruise control release switch electrical connector (4).
2. Loosen the cruise control release switch locknut (1).
3. Remove the cruise control release switch (3) with the locknut from the clutch pedal bracket (2) by unscrewing it in the counterclockwise direction.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Install the cruise control release switch (1) to the clutch pedal bracket (2) by screwing it in a clockwise direction. Secure the release switch with the locknut (1).
2. Connect the cruise control release switch electrical connector (4).
