Support Brace Replacement (LY7)

Removal Procedure
1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Vehicle Lifting.





2. Remove the transaxle brace bolts (1 and 3) and nuts (2).
3. Remove the transaxle brace.

Installation Procedure





1. Install the transaxle brace.

2. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

Install the transfer case brace bolts (1 and 3) and nuts (2).
^ Tighten the transfer case brace bolts (1 and 3) to 50 Nm (37 ft. lbs.).
^ Tighten the transfer case brace nuts (2) to 50 Nm (37 ft. lbs.).
3. Lower the vehicle.
