Window Replacement - Rear Door Stationary
Removal Procedure
1. Position the window to the full down position.
Notice: Refer to Paint Damage Notice in service Precautions.
2. Apply masking tape to the door frame applique/run channel.
3. Remove the rear door trim panel.
4. Remove the rear door water deflector.
5. Remove the window belt outer sealing strip.
6. Remove the rear door stationary window bolt (2).
7. Remove the rear door stationary window and weatherstrip (1) by grasping the center and pulling downward to release.
Some back and forth movement may be needed.
8. Remove the rear door stationary window from the door.
Installation Procedure
1. Apply a small amount of a lubricant on the inside corner of the stationary window rubber channel.
2. Install the rear door stationary window (1) in the door.
Some back and forth movement may be needed to set the stationary window into the door.
Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in service Precautions.
3. Install the rear door stationary window bolt (2).
Tighten the bolt to 10 N.m (89 lb in).
4. Install the window belt outer sealing strip.
5. Remove the masking tape.
6. Inspect the window for proper operation.
7. Install the rear door water deflector.
8. Install the rear door trim panel.
