THEFT DETERRENT CONTROL MODULE REPLACEMENT

REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Remove the ignition switch.
2. Remove the theft deterrent control module screws.




3. Remove the theft deterrent control module.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Install the theft deterrent control module.
2. Tighten the theft deterrent control module screws.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

Tighten the screws to 5 N.m (44 lb in).

3. Install the ignition switch.
4. Perform the vehicle theft deterrent system learn procedure. Refer to Programming Theft Deterrent System Components.
5. Program the theft deterrent control module after replacement. Refer to Control Module References in Computer/Integrating Systems. Programming and Relearning
