Wiring Harness Replacement - Rear Compartment Lid

Removal Procedure





1. Raise the rear compartment lid.
2. Remove the rear compartment lid trim cover. Refer to Compartment Lid Trim Replacement - Rear (Service and Repair) .
3. Note the routing of the electrical harness.
4. Disconnect all of the electrical connectors from the components that they are attached to.
5. Disconnect the wiring harness retainers from the rear compartment lid and in the rear compartment.
6. Remove the rear compartment wiring harness from the rear compartment lid.
7. Remove the wiring harness from the vehicle.



Installation Procedure





1. Position the wiring harness to the vehicle.
2. Use mechanics wire to attached to the wiring harness and pull the wiring harness through the rear compartment lid.
3. Connect the wiring harness connectors to the electrical components on the rear compartment lid.
4. Connect the wiring harness to the body harness.
5. Connect the wiring harness retainers to the rear compartment lid and rear compartment.
6. Install the rear compartment lid trim cover. Refer to Compartment Lid Trim Replacement - Rear (Service and Repair) .
7. Close the rear compartment.
