Brake and Accelerator Pedal Adjuster Actuator Motor Replacement

BRAKE AND ACCELERATOR PEDAL ADJUSTER ACTUATOR MOTOR REPLACEMENT

REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Remove the adjustable accelerator pedal bracket assembly from the vehicle.




2. Remove the 3 motor assembly screws and remove the motor assembly from the adjustable accelerator bracket.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Install the motor assembly to the adjustable accelerator bracket assembly.

2. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice.

Install the 3 screws to the adjustable accelerator bracket assembly.

Tighten the screws to 2 N.m (18 lb in).

3. IMPORTANT: Ensure that the adjustable accelerator pedal and the adjustable brake pedal are synchronized in the full forward position.

Install the adjustable accelerator pedal bracket assembly to the vehicle.

4. Calibrate the brake pedal position sensor. Refer to Brake Pedal Position Sensor Calibration.
