Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Open the hood.




2. Remove the fascia grille.




3. Remove the fastener retaining the ambient air temperature sensor to the front impact bar.
4. Disconnect the electrical connector from the ambient air temperature sensor.
5. Remove the sensor from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure




1. Connect the electrical connector to the ambient air temperature sensor.
2. Position the ambient air temperature sensor to the front impact bar. Ensure that the locating tabs on the sensor are seated into the holes on the impact bar.
3. Install the fastener to the ambient air temperature sensor.




4. Install the fascia grille.
5. Close the hood.
