Rear Fender Liner: Service and Repair

Wheelhouse Splash Shield Replacement


Removal Procedure - Left Side

Caution:Refer to Safety Glasses Caution .

Caution:Refer to Vehicle Lifting Caution .

Caution:Refer to Brake Dust Caution .

1.Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .

2.Remove the left front wheel. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation .





Important:Depress the splash guard clips (1) to disengage the splash guard (2) from the wheel house (3).

3.Remove the splash guard (2) from the wheel house (3).

Installation Procedure - Left Side

Caution:Refer to Safety Glasses Caution .

Caution:Refer to Vehicle Lifting Caution .

Caution:Refer to Brake Dust Caution .





Important:Make sure the splash guard clips (1) are correctly engaged with the wheel house (3) to prevent an induced rattle condition.

1.Install the splash guard (2) to the wheel house (3).

2.Install the left front wheel. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation .

3.Lower the vehicle to the ground.

Removal Procedure - Right Side

Caution:Refer to Vehicle Lifting Caution .

Caution:Refer to Brake Dust Caution .

1.Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .

2.Remove the right front wheel. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation .





Important:Depress the splash guard clips (2) to disengage the splash guard (1) from the wheel house (3).

3.Remove the splash guard (1) from the wheel house (3).

Installation Procedure - Right Side
