Rear Suspension Support Bushing Replacement

Tools Required

CH-49509 Rear Frame Bush Removal tool


Removal Procedure

Caution: Refer to Safety Glasses Caution (Safety Glasses Warning) .
Caution: Refer to Vehicle Lifting Caution (Service Precautions) .
1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle (Service and Repair) .
2. Remove the rear sub frame from the vehicle. Refer to Rear Frame Replacement (Rear Frame Replacement) .




3. Remove the rear sub frame insulator rubber (1) from the rear sub frame.




4. Install the rear sub frame bush tool CH-49509 to the rear sub frame bush.
5. Remove the rear sub frame bush by slowly pressing the rear sub frame removal tool into the rear sub frame.
6. Remove the rear sub frame bush from the rear sub frame.



Installation Procedure





1. Install the rear sub frame bush to the rear sub frame.
2. Install the rear sub frame bush tool CH-49509 to the rear sub frame bush.
3. Install the rear sub frame bush by slowly pressing rear sub frame tool.
4. Remove the rear sub frame bush tool from the rear sub frame.




5. Install the rear sub frame insulator rubber (1) to the rear sub frame.
6. Install the rear sub frame to the vehicle. Refer to Rear Frame Replacement (Rear Frame Replacement) .
