Console Trim Plate Replacement

Removal Procedure






Important: The console trim plate (2) is retained by clips.


1. Grasp the console trim plate (2) at (A) and pull upwards to disengage the retaining clips from the floor console (1).




2. Disconnect the window and exterior mirror switch electrical connector (3).
3. Disconnect the ESP and heated seat switches assembly electrical connector (2).
4. Remove the console trim plate (1).



Installation Procedure





1. Position the console trim plate (1) over the floor console.
2. Connect the window and exterior mirror switch electrical connector (3).
3. Connect the ESP and heated seat switches assembly electrical connector (2).





Important: The console trim plate (2) is retained by clips.


4. Install the console trim plate (2) and push downwards at (A) to engage the retaining clips to the floor console (1).
5. Test all switches for correct operation.
