Rear Seat Armrest Replacement

Removal Procedure






Important: Adjust the armrest (3) to a suitable position to access the rear seat back cover retainer (1)


1. Carefully pull down on the rear seat back cover retainer (1) and detach the trim flap (4) from the trim flap retainers (2).





Important: Lift the rear folding seat cover (3) to expose the armrest to rear folding seat back retaining bolts 4 and 5



Important: Do not remove the armrest to rear folding seat back retaining bolts (5)


2. Loosen the armrest to rear folding seat back retaining bolts (5) approximately 2 turns.
3. Remove the armrest to rear folding seat back retaining bolts (4) from the armrest hinges (2).




4. Slide the armrest assembly (1) up and away from the armrest to rear folding seat back retaining bolts (3).
5. Remove the armrest assembly (1) from the rear folding seat assembly (2).



Installation Procedure





1. Install the armrest assembly (1) to the rear folding seat back assembly (2).
2. Slide the armrest assembly (1) onto the armrest to rear folding seat back retaining bolts (3).

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice (Fastener Notice) .


Important: Do not fully tighten the armrest to rear folding seat back retaining bolts (3) at this stage.


3. Tighten the armrest to rear folding seat back retaining bolts (3).





Important: Adjust the armrest (1) to access the armrest to rear folding seat back retaining bolts (4).


4. Install the armrest to rear folding seat back retaining bolts (4) to the armrest hinges (2).

Tighten to 4 N.m (35 lb in).

5. Tighten the armrest to rear folding seat back retaining bolts (5).

Tighten to 4 N.m (35 lb in).





6. Lower and attach the trim flap (1) to the trim flap retainers (2).
