Rear Compartment Lid Latch Arms Retracted Caution

Caution: When the rear compartment lid (RCL) is open for folding top operation (reverse open position) manually raising and lowering the RCL can cause the latch arms to retract. When the latch arms are retracted the RCL is only held in place by the RCL latch. If the RCL remains in this position, it can become detached from the vehicle resulting in personal injury or vehicle damage.
