Vehicle Yaw Sensor with Vehicle Lateral Accelerometer Replacement

Removal Procedure





1. Turn the key to the ignition OFF position.
2. Remove the center console. Refer to Front Floor Console Replacement (Service and Repair) .
3. Disconnect the yaw rate sensor/lateral accelerometer sensor electrical connector (1).
4. Remove the yaw rate sensor/lateral accelerometer sensor to yaw rate sensor/lateral accelerometer mounting bracket retaining nuts (3).
5. Remove the yaw rate sensor/lateral accelerometer sensor (2) from the vehicle.



Installation Procedure





1. Install the yaw rate sensor/lateral accelerometer sensor (2) to the vehicle.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice (Fastener Notice) .

2. Install the yaw rate sensor/lateral accelerometer sensor to yaw rate sensor/lateral accelerometer mounting bracket retaining nuts (3).

Tighten the nuts to 9 Nm (80 lb in).

3. Connect the yaw rate sensor/lateral accelerometer sensor electrical connector (1).
4. Install center console. Refer to Front Floor Console Replacement (Service and Repair) .
