Engine Flywheel Removal

Removal Procedure






Important: Note the position and direction of the flexplate (1) before removal. The flexplate (1) does not use a locating pin for alignment. Mark or scribe the end of the crankshaft and the flexplate (1) before component removal.



Important: The flexplate retaining bolts (2) are single use components only. The flexplate retaining bolts (2) must be replaced upon removal


1. Remove the flexplate to crankshaft retaining bolts (2).
2. Remove the flexplate (1).
