Front Door Window Motor: Service and Repair



Front Side Door Window Regulator Motor Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the door trim panel. Refer to Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement (Service and Repair) .
2. Remove the speaker. Refer to Radio Front Side Door Lower Speaker Replacement (Radio Front Side Door Lower Speaker Replacement) .
3. Remove the water deflector. Refer to Front Side Door Water Deflector Replacement (Service and Repair) .
4. Remove the window regulator. Refer to Front Side Door Window Regulator Replacement (Service and Repair) .




5. Remove the window regulator motor to window regulator retaining bolts (1).




6. Remove the window regulator motor (2) from the window regulator (1).



Installation Procedure





1. Position the window regulator motor (2) to the window regulator (1).





Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice (Fastener Notice) .

2. Install the window regulator motor to window regulator retaining bolts (1).

Tighten the bolts to 8 N-m (71 lb in).

3. Install the window regulator. Refer to Front Side Door Window Regulator Replacement (Service and Repair) .
4. Install the water deflector. Refer to Front Side Door Water Deflector Replacement (Service and Repair) .
5. Install the speaker. Refer to Radio Front Side Door Lower Speaker Replacement (Radio Front Side Door Lower Speaker Replacement) .
6. Install the door trim panel. Refer to Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement (Service and Repair) .
