Reference to Repair Manual Page: WM Volume 1, page 24-1

To assure correct engine idle adjustment,

- drive vehicle normally to operating temperature

- disconnect oxygen sensor

- check and/or adjust idle rpm to 750 +/- 50 rpm

- check and/or adjust CO to 0.6 +/- 0.2% (measured in front of catalytic converter)

- reconnect oxygen sensor

Note:
This procedure should be performed immediately after road testing. Prolonged engine idling may lead to an incorrect CO reading.
