As of Sept. 3.85, VIN - 94GN451643 95GN150847
The temperature switch (52~C/126~F) has been replaced with a pressure switch (16 bar).
The service valve for charging the system is located under this pressure switch. When servicing the system the pressure switch must be removed.
As of Oct. 10.85, VIN - 94GN453224 95GN151637
The service valve is relocated to the pipe between the Receiver-Drier and Evaporator in the engine compartment near the left shock tower.
As of Nov. 8, 1985, VIN - 94GN454329 95GN152227
To improve the sealing between the switch and the connection, the O-ring was modified and the tightening torque for the switch reduced to 3 N-m or 2.2 ft.lbs.
New part no. for O-ring: 431.260,749A
During repairs, the new O-ring and torque should be used exclusively.
