Input Shaft Seal Replacement

Removal
- Remove engine/transmission assembly and unbolt transmission





- Unscrew guide sleeve capscrews and remove guide sleeve.





- Pull out drive shaft seal tube with local manufactured hook
- Remove seal.





5. Pry off seal with screwdriver. Do not use tube as leverage. Use a piece of wood for this purpose.

Installation





- Drive in seal to stop with piece of pipe.
- Install rubber seal.
- Lubricate rubber seal and sealing lip.
- Insert tube with rubber seal and seal.
- Install guide sleeve for release bearing and coat with MoS2 paste.
- Bolt transmission to engine and install this assembly.
