Fuel Pressure: Testing and Inspection


924 & 944 Models (Exc. Turbo)
1. Remove test port cap nut from fuel distribution line. Do not allow fuel to spill on hot engine, also ensure sealing ball does not fall out of capped nut.
2. Connect suitable fuel pressure gauge to test connection.
3. Bridge fuel pump relay in electric panel located in blower fresh air chamber. On all models, fuel pump should run.
4. Check fuel pressure gauge. Fuel pressure should be approximately 36 psi.
5. Remove jumper wire and fuel pressure gauge.
6. Install test port cap nut. Torque cap nut to 16 ft. lbs.
