Throttle Position Sensor: Service and Repair

- Turn ignition OFF.
- Disconnect the harness from the throttle switch/sensor.
- Remove the 2 retaining screws from the throttle body, carful not to drop the screws.
- Pull off the switch assemble and replace.
- Reinstall and lightly tighten the throttle switch mounting screws, switch must be able to move.
- Hold throttle in the closed position.
- Slowly rotate switch counterclockwise until inner stop is felt.
- Tighten mounting screws.
