Dimmer Switch: Service and Repair

1. Disable airbag system as described under MAINTENANCE PROCEDURES/AIRBAG SYSTEM DISARMING.
2. Disconnect battery ground cable.
3. Remove steering wheel.
4. Remove cover under steering column switch.
5. Remove steering column mounting bolts.
6. Remove instrument cover mounting screws.
7. Remove instrument cover and disconnect electrical connections.
8. Remove instrument column switch.
9. Reverse procedure to install.
