Brake Bleeding: Service and Repair

Brake fluid is extremely damaging to paint. If fluid should accidentally touch painted surface, immediately wipe fluid from paint and clean painted surface.
1. Fill reservoir to rim with brake fluid, then remove filter insert.
2. Attach pressure bleeder to reservoir, then turn pressure bleeder on.
3. First bleed clutch, then master cylinder if master cylinder or brake fluid tank has been removed.
4. Operate brake pedal firmly several times during bleeding procedure in order to remove all air bubbles in master cylinder.
5. Open bleeder valve of each wheel until escaping brake fluid is without air bubbles.
6. Check for leaks in system after bleeding procedure is completed.
