Starting System: Description and Operation

A countershaft mouthed starter is used on models less double mass flywheel. An external bearing starter is used on models with a double mass flywheel. The shaft runs on the bearing located in the transmission case clutch bellhousing. The sintered sleeve in the transmission case, close to the bellhousing must not be lubricated with grease or oil and the sleeve must not be cleaned with solutions.
