Air Flow Meter/Sensor: Service and Repair

1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Remove air intake hoses, then remove upper air cleaner housing, filter and the hose from blow-off valve.
3. Remove lower air cleaner assembly attaching bolts, then lower air cleaner assembly and air flow sensor.
4. Remove air flow sensor wiring connectors.
5. Loosen clamp, then remove air flow sensor from lower air cleaner housing.
6. Reverse procedure to install. Prior to installation, check O-ring in housing for damage and correct fit. If necessary, replace O-ring. Lubricate O-ring with silicone grease.
