Ignition Control Module: Description and Operation

Located at the bottom of the ignition system ECU multiple pin connector is an additional single pin plug and connector. When these wires are joined, the ignition timing will be retarded 3° at full load and at high partial load. This feature is used to adapt models for poor grades of gasolines.
