Test Point 16 - Tank Venting Valve

Terminal Identification:

CODE 1_43 TANK VENTING VALVE
1. Start engine and allow to achieve normal operating temperature.
2. Turn ignition off.
3. Connect oscilloscope to tank venting valve electrical connector.

Test Point 16 - Tank Venting Valve:

4. Restart engine and accelerate. Observe oscilloscope pattern.
5. If pattern is correct, system normal. End of test.
6. If pattern was not correct, check wiring between DME control unit and venting valve. If wiring OK, replace DME control unit.
