Test Point 3 - Full Load Contact

DME Connector Identification:

CODE 1_13 FULL LOAD CONTACT SHORTED
1. Disconnect DME control unit under drivers seat.
2. Connect ohmmeter across DME harness terminals 24 and 53. Readings should be:

Less than 10 ohms at 2/3 throttle and no continuity when throttle valve is closed 1mm

3. If reading was incorrect, repeat test at throttle switch with plug disconnected. Connect tester to terminals 2 and 3.

Less than 10 ohms at 2/3 throttle and no continuity when throttle valve is closed 1mm

4. If reading is still incorrect, replace idle contact switch. If reading is correct now, check and repair wiring between DME control unit and switch. End of test.
