Test Point 8 - Oxygen Sensor Signal

Oxygen Sensor Terminal Identification:





CODE 1_24 - OXYGEN SENSOR SIGNAL
1. Disconnect oxygen sensor electrical connector.
2. Connect voltmeter between oxygen sensor and ground (terminal shown in black).
3. Start engine and allow sensor to achieve normal operating temperature.
4. Note voltage reading.
5. Momentarily accelerate engine and observe voltage reading.

Voltage should rise and should read approx. 0.5 - 0.9 volts

6. If sensor voltage is incorrect, replace sensor. End of test.
7. If reading was correct, sensor operating normally. Possible DME malfunction.
