Operation CHARM: Car repair manuals for everyone.
Manuals through 2025 now available!

Our trusted friends have launched a new website named LEMON, which has newer manuals. It also contains all the CHARM manuals.

LEMON is the spiritual successor to CHARM, I recommend you try it!

1. Depress front of vehicle several times and allow to rebound to proper height.

4. Remove torsion bar dust cover at adjusting lever. Use torsion bar centering mark as a reference mark.
5. Loosen or tighten torsion bar adjusting bolt until value b is obtained at the torsion bar center.
6. Depress front of vehicle and allow to rebound to proper height. Recheck vehicle height. The allowable difference in height between left and right sides of the vehicle is .2 inch (5 mm).
