Ground Locations

Disconnect connectors; be sure pins and sockets are not corroded or bent. Refit connectors securely.
- 2 four-pin plugs at EZ control unit
- two-pin plug at EZ control unit

Engine Speed Sensor:





- three-pin connector for engine speed sensor

14 Pin Plug Location:





- fourteen-pin plug; engine compartment left rear

Throttle Valve Switch:





- five-pin plug; throttle valve switch
- two-pin plug; intake air temperature sensor

Temperature Sensor II (Engine):





- two-pin plug; engine temperature sensor

Loosen ground points; clean and retighten.
- Ground point X; battery ground
- Ground point XI; ground strap transmission to body
- Ground point XXI; power ground crankcase separation flange
- Ground point XXII; electronic ground crankcase separation flange

Note: Ground points XXI and XXII are only accessible after removing alternator.
