Concern:
Incorrect paint code sticker.

General Information:
During the time from September, 1992 to the end of October, 1992, some 1993 Porsche models that were painted with "738" black metallic received paint code stickers "744" dark grey metallic.

The installation of the "744" paint code sticker on vehicles with "738" paint was sporadic and did not involve all vehicles produced during that time.





Identification of the color of paint can be done by visual inspection. Vehicles with "738" black metallic are much darker in appearance than vehicles painted with "744" dark grey metallic.
