Distributor: Description and Operation
Dual Distributors W/Remote Mounts
These engines do not use a conventional
distributor. Instead, the distributor rotors are driven directly from the camshaft. The only purpose the
distributor caps and rotors serve is to deliver secondary voltage.
Ignition timing, dwell and advance functions are controlled by the engine ignition system electronics.
