CO Adjustment

On vehicles without catalytic converters, this function can be used for setting the CO value at idle. For CO setting, the following conditions must be met:
- engine at idle
- cylinder head temperature > 100°C
- DME - engine control module coded for controlled operation

After this menu item has been selected, the following display appears:

Note:
CO adjustment is
only possible on
vehicles w/o cat. conv. >.

Press the > key to switch to the CO adjustment display.

NOTE:
- The number displayed has nothing to do with the CO content. The CO content must be measured using an emissions tester.
- If the CO content at idle is too low, press the > key until the correct value is obtained. If it is too high, press the < key. The value displayed by the system tester rises or falls by 1 each time the key is pressed.
